What a great alternative to wheat! This ancient relative of durum wheat, Kamut Kernels are plump golden with a pleasant firm texture and a rich nutty flavour when cooked. It can be cooked and served in the same manner as whole grain rice and is excellent in pilafs, in salads such as Tabbouleh, or in the Egyptian side dish Koshari. It is delicious in soups and also adds wonderful texture to granola or in baked goods.
